Celebrating Reframing 👏

In the last few weeks, I have seen a few smart reframing. Reframing is often the best way to market (market your product, market your brand, market your nostalgic audience) but in recent years it seems to either be forgotten or gone out of fashion. The IRN-BRU example (second tweet below) of flipping a 24 pack of drinks into an advent calendar is smart, timely and deliberately poking fun at their other halves. My personal favourite is how Walkers position Monster Munch (click through on tweet below) and with their new ad, they position the ‘new Monster Munch’, flipping the famous claw to a monster shape. Pondering for you & your business: Maybe the next campaign or the next big idea can be something as simple as flipping the idea or the discussion point around a product or feature…it causes conversation, it causes us to talk about it, these campaigns drive sales, it works.
